Why choose Elite Precast Concrete?
We are one of the leading manufacturers of precast concrete in the UK – and here are 20 reasons that spell out just why…
We’re one of the leading precast concrete companies in the UK – and that’s because we operate in a way that’s unique to this sector.
We’re wholesale manufacturers and, as such, conduct the vast majority of our business through our website.
Rather than have sales reps knocking on doors, we operate a lean business model that enables us to drive down costs.
And we pass those savings directly on to our customers.
We focus on providing unrivalled levels of customer service – but we’re also the best price option. Every single time.
It’s by no means a typical approach for a manufacturing business, but it’s a dynamic and innovative method that very much sets us apart.
Customers call us, we discuss their requirements and they’re given a quote almost instantly. We provide the right products and deliver them. Job done!
Our wholesale ethos means we keep huge stocks of products that can be delivered very quickly. Clients are looking at a lead time of two or three days rather than several weeks – and that’s something incredibly rare for this industry.
It’s about providing a practical solution that’s quick and cost-effective – and companies operating on more ‘traditional’ models simply cannot compete.
It’s an approach we’ve used from the day we started the business in 2008 – and one that has enabled us to grow very quickly.
We now trade with an enormous range of companies in a wide variety of sectors – across the UK and all over the world.
And our proven track record, combined with the fact that more than 65 per cent of our clients are repeat customers, shows that it works.
Cost is almost always the first thing in the minds of our customers so it’s vital for us to come up with the right figures time and time again.
We’ve taken many of the principles for successful trading in 2019 and applied them to what is essentially a traditional business sector.
It enables us to drive down costs – and we genuinely pass those savings on to customers.
We’re constantly seeking to improve our production systems to maintain long-term price – making it easier to plan projects and service repeat business.
But we know people will not accept a reduction in quality or service just to achieve a fantastic bottom line. You have to be both the cheapest AND the best.
And we recognise the only way to achieve that is to be as efficient as possible and have massively low overheads.
The company employs more than 70 people, but the vast majority are in production with the number of office-based staff kept to a minimum.
It means we’re all aware of every project, our customers’ requirements, their businesses and the sectors they work in. We’re talking to the same people, building relationships and generating trust – and that’s genuinely appreciated.
We put a massive amount of importance on delivering the highest possible level of personal and professional customer service.
Combine that with our vast range of quality-assured products, short lead times and the experience and expertise within the business and there’s a compelling argument, as well as strong evidence, that we really are the cheapest AND the best.
The story of Elite Precast is one of substantial growth built on solid foundations – a company that has evolved rapidly from humble beginnings into a multi-million pound organisation.
The company was first established in Telford, Shropshire in 2008 – the brainchild of two men with a combined total of more than 40 years’ industry experience behind them.
Richard Doody (now Commercial Director) and Alan Johnson (Operations Director) saw an opportunity to build a business with a fresh approach and an ethos different to that of more traditional concrete manufacturers.
Elite quickly became successful thanks to its innovative business model and the development of a string of new products.
A new state-of-the-art headquarters, featuring manufacturing, workshop and office space, was opened in 2013 – and by retaining our original building nearby, we were able to expand total capacity to around 48,000 sq ft.
The business has enjoyed growth of between 10 and 15 per cent every year since it was first established – and we posted a most recent turnover figure of more than £12.5 million.
We are now market leaders in the manufacture and supply of interlocking concrete blocks –and, having made significant investment to develop our range of products, have seen substantial expansion in both our customer base and the sectors in which we work.
We employ more than 70 people across our two sites and have ambitious plans for further sustainable growth over the next few years, and beyond.
We aim to consolidate and further enhance our market position in the UK, expand our presence in international markets and break into additional sectors.
We manufacture a wide variety of precast concrete products for a huge number of purposes and supply almost every sector of UK industry.
In fact, our client base ranges from private individuals and small start-ups to blue chip contractors, major organisations and local authorities.
We’ve invested heavily to develop our portfolio and always hold an extensive catalogue of ‘semi-dry’ and ‘wet-cast’ items in stock.
One particularly innovative aspect of our business is that most our products have so many different uses. And that means the list of sectors we’re able to trade in is almost endless.
Perhaps our biggest market remains domestic and commercial construction, but we supply to a lot of waste recycling and waste-to-energy operations as well as temporary on-site works.
We work closely with a number of companies in the rail sector and in site security, but the multi-purpose nature of our products means they can be used by virtually any industry at all.
We’ve grown considerably in recent years and, though we remain a small business in manufacturing terms, we hold major contracts with some of the biggest companies in the UK.
Our extensive portfolio includes high-strength interlocking concrete blocks (Legato, Duo and Vee blocks), ballast blocks and safety/security barriers as well as service protection and drainage products.
Details about each product – and their potential uses – appear later in this series of question and answer documents.
But we have put together a virtual catalogue, along with a library of technical drawings and specification sheets.
Our interlocking blocks provide all the benefits of a permanent solution with the ability to reconfigure or relocate the lay-out as the needs of your business change.
The flexible nature of the products therefore creates major advantages and the quality of the mix – which does not contain any recycled aggregates – offers the durability that ensures those advantages will continue to deliver for many years to come.
Competitor products have been proven to contain recycled and even waste materials unsuitable for making concrete. Far from an asset, blocks made from such materials can quickly become a liability.
Our blocks are cast from 50N/mm2 concrete and are therefore suitable for structural applications – with a design life of 120 years! And all fully traceable raw materials are monitored for dimensional accuracy, density and strength.
Each block has its own lifting point which means they can be moved easily and quickly into different configurations without the need for specialist equipment.
And because our products are made from 100 per cent natural materials, they’re 100 per cent recyclable at their end of their life – the most environmentally-sustainable solution available.
The lack of steel reinforcement or recycled aggregates also gives our concrete class-leading fire-retardant qualities.
Our blocks are recommended by many insurance companies as fire breaks and we boast a number of tyre recycling companies among our continually expanding customer base.
Applications
The interlocking concrete block system means it can be used by all types of companies in all types of sectors.
Indeed, the blocks have an almost endless variety of uses – from push walls in recycling facilities, embankment retention and flood defence to counter weights (kentledge) for fencing and hoarding, traffic management and even radiation screening.
Precast concrete ballast blocks can be used as kentledge or counterweights for a variety of applications.
They’re ideal for scaffolding or various temporary works and utilising them for above-ground/no dig fencing and hoarding systems, the risk of costly service strikes can be completely avoided.
The blocks can also be attached to wire ropes fixed to the structure to provide much-improved stability.
Our extensive range of 50N/mm2 products means we’re bound to have a block – or a combination of blocks – that meet every requirement.
They’re used extensively by businesses in the maritime fabrication industry operating in the off-shore wind turbine sector and by companies in the wind farm/wind turbine trade.
They can be counterweights for port/dock-side cranes or as ship supports in dry docks.
We’ve catalogued the most popular block types in a list which also includes style, dimensions and weight options here
Our Legato™ and Vee™ interlocking blocks and our security blocks also make excellent counterweights for the fall arrest systems featured in heavy lifting. They’re also perfect for the vast majority of temporary work situations.
We have also produced a range of precast concrete sea anchors.
They’re available in a wide range of sizes with a choice of galvanised steel lifting and guide hoops with integral feet to help place them precisely into the sea bed.
Of course, we’ll manufacture products not already in stock to suit customer requirements perfectly. Just give us a call.
Safety and security barriers act as vital apparatus to mitigate on-site risk and our precast concrete products provide versatile, flexible and hugely cost-effective solutions.
Suitable for both commercial and private environments, they can be used for a wide variety of purposes and are fully compliant.
From temporary barriers to heavy-duty perimeter protection, we can design, manufacture and supply a system that will meet any requirement.
Our Temporary Vertical Concrete Barriers (TVCBs) can be used to…
- Create a safe working area for your workforce
- Build or improve flood defences
- Protect pedestrians from traffic
- Create traffic barriers
- Prevent unauthorised access to forecourts, car parks, fields and site compounds
- Help direct traffic flows safely
- Provide bases for secure fencing (particularly useful for large public events)
- Create counterweights or kentledge for scaffolding, fencing, cranes etc
- Improve security against ram raiders and terrorist attacks
Our interlocking blocks also create ideal Vehicle Security Barriers (VSBs), Vehicle Containment Barriers (VCBs) and can be used for Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM).
Our products are cast from high-strength 50M/mm2 concrete which, combined with Highways Agency specification steel reinforcement, means the barriers meet the component requirements of EN 1317 ‘Compliant Road Restraint Systems for Temporary Safety Barriers’ when installed by an approved contractor.
The safety barriers are connected together at the scarf joint by high-tensile bolts. Units can also be fixed to the carriageway if required using anchor plates.
They’re always available direct from stock for nationwide next day delivery while a crane off-load and place service is also available.
Jersey Barriers
Our unique interlocking heavy-duty system is designed to provide the ultimate in anti-vehicle perimeter protection.
It’s ideal for traffic management, flood defence, site security, rockfall and edge protection as well as for various temporary works.
The barrier is 2,500mm long and weighs 1,450kg and provides incredible levels of security against unwanted visitors. Sections can be removed and repositioned easily should emergency access be required.
Jersey Barriers are available for delivery on a self-install basis using a standard forklift truck. Alternatively, our experienced and fully-trained installation team can deliver and place them anytime, anywhere.
Tank Trap Pyramid Barriers
Any organisations seeking real strength in their security – whether it’s to prevent vehicles being stolen or even anti-terrorism measures – might want to consider the complete, cost-effective perimeter solution provided by our tank trap barriers.
The pointed pyramidal ‘dragon’s teeth’ design has been specially designed to stop any size vehicle driving over them without being impaled.
Each 2,500kg unit consists of three 900mm square pyramids with interlocking connectors that just slot into place, making this simple system highly secure – whatever the length of your site perimeter.
Security blocks
We offer a range of options when it comes to securing your premises against unwanted visitors, to manage site traffic and for use as HGV MOT test weights.
Customers can choose from the Security block, the Vee™, Legato™ or Duo™ interlocking blocks or from our Marquee ranges.
Not only do these products provide top-quality security solutions, they can also be used for various temporary works applications.
All systems come with integral lifting options … providing a much cheaper alternative to hiring barriers.
Many of our customers work on, or close to, service and utility installations on a regular basis so we very much appreciate the importance of avoiding accidental damage.
That’s why we developed a series of products to help many types of businesses do just that.
From channels, ducts and troughs to cable protection covers, indicator posts, marker blocks and protection slabs, we’ve created systems that protect essential cabling and can make potentially disruptive – and expensive – accidents a thing of the past.
Channels, Ducts, Troughs
Our precast concrete ducting enables a number of different services, sometimes from multiple utility and building providers, to be accommodated in the same place.
The trough and lid system has several advantages over direct bury and overhead suspension – providing a vital protective barrier against accidental damage.
It also acts as clear indication of utility installations, enables easy access for maintenance and repairs and delivers high levels of security.
Rectangular ducts are available in a number of dimensions, but also we’ll make bespoke sizes to exact specifications. Lids are manufactured to withstand Highways loadings.
Cable Protection Covers
Our concrete cable protection cover tiles, also known as Cable Route Markers, are used by utility companies to provide a clear indication to site staff who may be working close to underground electrical cables.
The covers act as a protective barrier against damage, eliminating the risk of accidents and costly repairs. They can also be used to locate and identify other underground services.
Protection covers are reinforced precast concrete units manufactured and tested to BS 2484 specifications. They are imprinted, as standard, with the words ‘DANGER ELECTRICITY’ and are available in three sizes.
Bespoke covers can be manufactured to order for other services such as telephone, gas, oil, chemicals, fibre optics etc.
Indicator Posts/Marker Blocks
Also widely used by utility companies, our indicator posts and marker blocks assist in the location and identification of underground services or other reference points.
Made from reinforced precast concrete, they’re manufactured and tested to BS 1881 standards and are available in a variety of types and sizes, although again, other requirements can be made to order.
Utility and Pipe Protection Slabs
Our precast concrete slabs, heavily reinforced with steel, can protect a range of vulnerable utilities including water pipes, high-pressure gas mains and power cables from mechanical excavation damage.
Standard slabs are 2,500mm x 1,000mm and 150mm thick. Both faces are reinforced with heavy duty mesh and each slab weighs in at 900kg.
They are interlocking to allow for easy installation and ensure rigid construction.
The management of surface water is a key issue that poses a significant – and ongoing – challenge to the extension, operation and maintenance of the UK road network.
We’ve been working with highways operators for a number of years and recognise the importance and value of effective drainage solutions.
We’ve developed an extensive range of high-performance systems that provide vital support to public and private sector organisations.
Our fully compliant precast concrete products are integral to the infrastructure of hundreds of highways, roads and footpaths across the country.
Seating rings/adjusting units
Our concrete-frame adjusting/seating rings are reinforced 65mm deep units that can be used in place of engineering bricks to ensure ductile or cast iron covers and frames are at required levels.
They feature fewer joints than normal, which reduces the likelihood of infiltration, and can be installed quickly and easily.
They’re manufactured to BS EN 1917 and BS 5911-3 and are therefore deemed legally acceptable for use in highway construction under Section 38 of the Highways Act 1980.
Our multi-part units are lightweight sections that can be handled by just one man.
Gully cover slabs/raisers
Gully cover slabs offer a stronger and more cost-effective alternative to brickwork with the added benefit of simple installation.
They’re available in both square and ‘U’-shaped versions for positioning next to kerb edges – and have handling recesses for lifting brackets.
Manufactured to BS 5911-6 standard, they are available in a variety of sizes and thickness.
Manhole cover slabs
Because access holes vary according to the diameter and depth of manholes, our heavy-duty reinforced cover slabs, as well as Lothian seating slabs, can be supplied in a number of standard and non-standard sizes.
Designers and users should ensure they’ve taken into account the current requirements for manhole access as detailed in the Health & Safety Code of Practice and other relevant requirements.
Dam spillway blocks
We have designed blocks that create a concrete step-overlay protection system for embankment dams and spillways.
The wedge-shaped products use the hydrodynamics of the water flow to achieve immense stability in high velocity open channel conditions.
Bespoke-manufactured to suit specific design and technical data, the weight of the block combined with the uplift pressure of the flowing water ensures systems remain stable.
By allowing water to be removed from beneath, the overlay provides an effective drainage network that’s entirely practical and massively cost-effective due to the ease of installation.
They’re particularly beneficial for projects where the use of large machinery is impractical due to site dimensions or potential environmental impact.
Some projects demand an innovative, tailored approach – and Elite Precast will go the extra mile to meet even the most challenging requirements.
We’ve built a strong reputation on outstanding customer service, coupled with the flexibility and commitment to deliver every time. So if we don’t already have the ideal solution for your needs, we’ll make it.
Our technical departments are renowned for their ability to modify and adapt existing ‘off-the-shelf’ products to suit the most specific and exacting requests.
Customers are able to make considerable savings as the production cost is far less than that of a totally bespoke solution – and turn-around time can be greatly reduced.
Should that be impractical, we have all the facilities necessary to produce completely custom-designed products to individual specifications.
We like to get involved at the earliest stages of a project. We can then provide a partnering solution that saves our customers both time and money.
Alongside the simply wholesale supply ethos on which we’ve built our business, we’ve been able to develop a number of trading partnerships with highly-skilled and strategically-placed contractors.
It gives us the ability to offer anything from a simply off-load and install service, under a client’s supervision, to a full turnkey installation.
A typical turnkey installation includes…
- A site visit by an approved third party contractor to carry out a detailed survey and discuss exact requirements
- Production of a full set of 3D layout drawings with accompanying stability and ground-bearing calculations. These are completed by an independent consulting engineer backed with full public indemnity insurance.
- Tension membrane or full steel roof structures can be included if required.
- Full installation service carried out by highly-trained operatives in compliance with all applicable up-to-date HSE guidance.
Our turnkey services are available throughout the UK – and there’s a 100-year design life warranty as standard on all of our blocks.
We have construction partners all over the country, so there’s usually one within a maximum of two hours of any project.

The demands of strict scheduling combined with an ever-growing need to streamline operations mean time is often of the essence.
We recognise the period of time between the placement of an order and delivery can often have a significant impact on both public and private sector organisations.
Suppliers who can turn orders around quickly, efficiently and consistently are therefore often ahead of the game.
The truth is that our typical lead time, from initial enquiry to delivery on site, is the shortest in the industry – and by some margin.
And that goes for whatever the size of the order and whether or not it features the same products or a combination.
Because we operate as wholesale manufacturers, we keep a huge amount of our products in stock and that means we can dispatch and deliver them incredibly quickly.
Customers who call us will often be given a quote instantly and are looking at lead times of between two and three days instead of the weeks typical almost everywhere else.
We’ve spent a lot of time pre-qualifying ourselves as accredited suppliers and have recognised quality assurances in place (see question 14).
That extends from our suppliers to our processes and from our products to our delivery operation.
So tell us what you want and we’ll convert that into reality with a practical solution that’s extremely quick and hugely cost-effective.
It’s easy for any company to claim it provides great customer service – but the truth is in the pudding.
Here at Elite Precast, we go out of our way to ensure clients receive the kind of service they would hope for time and time again.
Our flexibility and ‘can do’ approach has earned us an excellent reputation – and won us many friends – over the years and it’s something that we’re very proud of.
Rather than simply selling products, we’re a company that provides solutions and creates value for our customers.
We recognise the importance and value of building and nurturing relationships and set out to become trusted partners, rather than simply suppliers.
We’re a small and friendly team with in-depth knowledge of our industry and we like to get to know our clients’ business too.
By gaining a true understanding of their environment, we help to identify their requirements and can suggest the right solutions.
The ‘call centre’ approach simply doesn’t work for a lot of people anymore and that’s where we can – and do – make a lot of difference.
Our in-house experts are always on hand to offer ‘no obligation’ advice and guidance, provide estimates and help with project planning.
We can also put customers in touch with experienced third party engineers for independent consultation over technical and/or structural designs and calculations.
We offer a full installation package and work closely with an approved and experienced team who can either contract to us or directly to customers.
And as part of our service, we’ve also placed a wealth of technical information on our website for the benefit of customers and specifiers.
It’s naturally essential for organisations, particularly those in construction and fire prevention, to source the correct standard of products.
That’s why we take the quality and consistency of our products extremely seriously – and go to great lengths to ensure it’s properly measured and defined.
We operate rigorous procedures and the latest production techniques to ensure consistency and efficiency across the board.
We operate within an approved BS EN 1917 quality system and are one of only a few manufacturers of precast concrete products in the UK with our own purpose-built testing facility.
Regular tests are carried out on both raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance is maintained.
From aggregate sieve analysis to compression and cured stock testing, we check the strength and quality of our concrete on a daily basis to guarantee product performance under specified usage conditions.
Among the technical specifications elsewhere on our website, is a Quality Statement which lists the exact content of our high-strength 50N/mm2 concrete.
It confirms our block units have a design working life of 100 years, as defined in BS EN 1990:2002+A1:2005, and spells out other details surrounding durability, lifting points and quality management.
It helps us to provide high-quality products at the most cost-effective prices.
We are ongoing members of the British Standards Institution and hold a number of kite mark certificates to prove all products are manufactured to the stipulated quality specification.
Our interlocking blocks do not contain any recycled/waste materials or steel reinforcement and are approved for use by Network Rail, HS2, Crossrail, Tideway and other major infrastructure projects.
They are also Class A1 Fire Resistant in accordance with EN 13369.
The ‘Comprehensive Fire Protection and Safety with Concrete’ report provides more information on the fire resilient characteristics of quality concrete.
Manufacturers are required to ensure precast concrete products are of consistent high quality and comply with regulations and standards.
Third party accreditations provide independent proof that our products meet those specifications and act as an assurance to customers that our entire operation is both safe and compliant.
We’ve spent a lot of time pre-qualifying ourselves as accredited suppliers and have recognised quality certificates in place.
That extends from our suppliers to our processes and from our products to our delivery operation.
It’s rare for a small precast business to hold so many accreditations – many competitors simply don’t have the time, or the inclination, to go into it in such depth.
But it means that we’re able to trade with any company in any sector – and that people know we fit the bill in terms of their own compliance before they even pick up the phone.
Accreditations include…
- Part of JOSCAR supplier accreditation register (for defence and security sectors)
- Member of British Precast (trade association for UK precast concrete industry)
- Member of Achilles register (supply chain network relating to risk management and compliance)
- Member of Achilles UVBD register (utility industry pre-qualification system)
- Assessed by Achilles UVBD on Health and Safety, Environment and Quality
- Verified as Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS) supplier
- Silver member of Constructionline (pre-qualification requirements for public and private sector procurement)
- Blocks approved for use by Network Rail, HS2, Crossrail, Tideway and other major infrastructure projects
- Blocks also Class A1 Fire Resistant in accordance with EN 13369
Potential first-time customers are often surprised to hear we don’t carry out site visits.
It’s a policy that’s integral to the way we operate and, rather than being in any way negative, it’s something that actually delivers significant benefits to our clients.
The truth is that we can work out the precise requirements of ANY customer without leaving the office.
Site visits are actually entirely unnecessary most of the time. They’ll typically take several days to organise and could involve a day’s travel for a member of staff – a fact that will naturally be factored into any eventual quote.
Instead, once we’ve talked in detail to customers about their plans, we’ll ask them to provide dimensions along with pictures or drawings of their site.
We’ll then use our state-of-the-art CAD facility to work out precisely what they need and prepare a quote containing all of the details and costs involved.
Customers come to us with a project and we’re often able to present them with firm plans for a practical, cost-effective solution within 24 hours.
If they tried to source similar products from many other companies, they’d probably be waiting several days for a site visit and even longer for a quote that’s substantially more expensive.
Yes, people can be taken aback when we turn down the opportunity of a site visit. But the penny drops when we spell out the reasons.
If we’re entirely pragmatic, we lose some business because of that policy. But we accept that because the way we operate means we win a lot more than we lose.
We don’t conform to convention – and it’s a key part of a unique, lean business model that recognises the bottom line for most businesses is the bottom line.
Businesses in every sector of industry demand a delivery service that’s efficient, reliable, safe, compliant and cost-effective.
So we’ve created an extensive range of transport options for our entire range of products that tick all of the boxes.
It’s a comprehensive solution tailor-made for the precast concrete sector that covers not only every corner of the UK, but overseas too.
It highlights our commitment to exceed industry standards and helps to underline our ethos of providing the very highest levels of customer service.
Our logistics operation is very important to us, so we’ve teamed up with a specialist provider to ensure it runs like clockwork.
Their Euro 6 compliant fleet features flat bed rigid and articulated HGVs with edge protection and we can also provide crane off-load vehicles, truck-mounted forklifts, telehandlers along with specialised packing services and even worldwide container shipping.
Our delivery service, which includes the option of next-day delivery, operates to best practice in safety, efficiency and compliance.
It works to the Construction Logistics and Community Safety (CLOCS) standard, is fully Chapter 8 compliant and approved for use by the HS2, Crossrail and Thames Tideway Schemes among others.
Our logistics partners are also part of the Fleet Operator Recognition (FORS) Scheme and can ensure deliveries are carried out within requirements of Bronze, Silver or Gold standard.
Experienced drivers are meanwhile highly-trained in this specific sector – providing peace of mind for companies managing Work Related Road Risk (WRRR).
The vast majority of companies these days are not only aware of their suppliers’ approach to Health and Safety but, in many cases, insist that specific safeguards and illustrations of compliance are in place before committing to a contract.
It’s an aspect of the business that we take incredibly seriously and why we’ve built a policy that reflects just that.
We’ve undertaken risk assessments and implemented control measures to ensure safe systems of work are applied to all of our activities.
It’s our policy to safeguard, as far as reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of all employees, customers, suppliers and anyone else working with us.
By promoting a positive health and safety culture throughout the company, complying with all relevant legislation at all times and committing to continual improvement, we’ve taken significant steps to ensure our working environment, processes, handling, storage and transportation are the best they can be.
We work hard to minimise risk by ensuring premises, equipment and systems are as safe as possible, by providing excellent facilities and by taking steps to deliver adequate information, instruction, training and supervision.
We’re also careful to assess the quality and competence of all partners and raw materials, enabling us to provide assurances surrounding our entire supply chain.
And by setting and working to specific objectives, reviewed on an annual basis, we’re able to both monitor and illustrate the success of our approach.
Elite Precast embraces its duty to help protect the environment and be aware of its impact – and has a significant ongoing commitment to sustainability.
It’s an approach that is integral to our professional activities and the management of the organisation.
We have put firm policies in place to reflect our aims to reduce energy consumption and source raw materials responsibly.
Environment
Because our blocks are made from 100 per cent natural materials sourced from local quarries, they are 100 per cent recyclable at their end of their life.
Combined with their design life of more than 120 years, they provide the most environmentally sustainable solution on the market.
Our production processes benefit from the most modern and efficient low-energy equipment and we embrace best practice in all aspects including rainwater harvesting.

Our objectives are to…
- Buy fuels at the most economic cost
- Reduce the amount of pollution, particularly CO₂ emissions, caused by energy consumption,
- Reduce the loss of energy from our buildings to the minimum practical level
We promote employee awareness of our energy policy and its benefits and have review procedures in place to report on the achievement of targets and any savings projects undertaken.
The substantial investment required for certain projects has the potential to put a strain on any type of business.
