EV Containment Protection Walling
Under guidance from the Department of Transport, any accident damaged electric vehicles, including battery electric vehicles (BEVs), plug-in hybrids (PHEVs), hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) must be carefully handled and stored in an outside quarantine area.
Elite precast concrete interlocking blocks are perfect for building an outdoor EV containment or quarantine area as they comply within Class A1 of Fire Classification EN 13501-1, which means they are non-combustible.
Our concrete blocks do not burn, crack, or give off noxious fumes regardless of the intensity of the fire or time spent being exposed to the fire. This means that those outside the quarantined area are safe and that any fires are kept within the containment area.
With a choice of three blocks on offer, we have a solution to suit you.
Legato® Blocks
Like all of our blocks, Legato® interlocking concrete blocks comply with BS EN 1992-1-1:2004 Design of concrete structures and can be installed to create fire resistant walls that are incredibly durable and yet quick and easy to install.
