The Retainer-Rock® retaining wall system is made from durable concrete at our production facilities.
Retainer-Rock® is an engineered interlocking concrete block that creates a stunning retaining wall that requires the minimum of maintenance and enhances any area, adding value and protection.
Available in two finishes, Cobblestone and Liscio Stone, Retainer-Rock® improves land efficiency by protecting homes and infrastructure and is aesthetically pleasing.
Our concrete blocks are delivered ready to build, resulting in leaner construction and little to no waste.
Block Choice
There are two textured finishes…
Cobblestone
The Cobblestone face has six smaller, individual blocks on one face – giving it a more natural stone feel.
The wall has a more consistent look that offers customers the structural capabilities of a concrete block retaining wall with a look that blends effortlessly with local surroundings.
Liscio Stone
The Liscio Stone face creates a sleek look that is perfect for projects that require a more modern retaining wall finish.
The contemporary aesthetic offers a distinctive look that can improve the overall aesthetic look of your project, delivering an attractive, cost-effective complete walling system.
Engineering Options
As with most modular block gravity retaining wall solutions, gravity walls rely on the mass of the concrete blocks to resist and hold back the pressure of the soil.
Retainer Rock® works in a similar way but also has a tie rod jointing system that is easy to install and used only if ground conditions and/or height dictates. This allows space saving walls to be built up to 4.5mt tall with standard single depth blocks of just 816mm without the need for additional resource. Walls taller than 4.5mt in height may be achieved with additional engineering input.
Block Sizes
With the heaviest main block, weighing just 780kg, they are easily moved into place using a machine.
