Internal Sales Negotiator

At Elite Precast, we are all about teamwork and continuous improvement to ensure we offer the best customer service possible.

We are looking for someone to join our team in supporting our sales team with the development of sales opportunities, building and maintaining strong and lasting relationships, providing product knowledge, (training will be given) identifying and qualifying of sales leads, quoting projects and gaining sales orders through excellent customer service.

The main areas of responsibility will include:

  • Supporting customers with their pricing of projects and delivery of goods
  • Answering general business telephone calls into the office
  • Logging quotations, sales orders and weekly figures
  • Inputting orders to produce confirmation of orders when system allows
  • Updating and maintaining customer CRM system
  • Chasing quotation updates through to the placing of orders
  • Identify and leverage potential sales opportunities
  • Supporting the sales function as required
  • Ensuring a high-level of customer service
  • Maintain own product knowledge and awareness of competitor activities
  • Building strong working relations with customers and internal stakeholders

Desirable criteria

  • Previous experience in a sales role
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Business Central or similar experience
  • The ability to communicate confidently with people on a B2B bases
  • Capacity to work independently and within a team
  • Be part of the Elite team

Placement Student – Engineering & Product Development

As manufacturers of precast concrete interlocking blocks, walling, ballast, security barriers, service protection, drainage, construction, fencing and electric vehicle solutions, we have established relationships with Network Rail, National Highways, housebuilders, water companies, contractors and builder’ merchants, delivering to civil and infrastructure projects across the UK, including HS2, major motorways, the Olympic and Commonwealth Games, the Millennium Stadium and Hampden Park, Buckingham Palace and Hinckley Point.

Having been established since 2008, Elite Precast sold 75% of its shares to Lloyds Animal Feeds (LAF Holdings) in 2022, in partnership with Richard Doody.

This partnership aims to develop new products and sectors while maintaining the core values of customer service, short lead times, quality products and stakeholder satisfaction.

This is a paid 52-week placement for the right student

Responsibilities

Development of precast concrete products for the agricultural market, taking into consideration demand, production costs, machinery capacity, range development, existing patents, future sales and customer needs. Prioritising sustainable and ethical decisions, by using responsibly sourced, energy-efficient and environmentally friendly materials.

Opportunities

You will gain an understanding of operational and supply chain management, as well as opportunities to get involved with training days, reviewing competitor products, attending conferences and exhibitions and valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment over a 52-week period.

Candidates will be highly motivated, with a can-do attitude and excellent communication skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with a range of teams and willing to go above and beyond in their role.
